현대 조경은 서양의 공공 공간탄생 과정에서 발전되었다고 볼수 있으므로 서양 조경의 역사적 배경과 특징을 습득하고 이를 현대조경에 적용할수 있도록 철학적 이념과 조형적 특성을 습득하고 이해한다.

Since modern landscape architecture is developed from western public space, historical background and characteristics about western landscape is learnt. Also philosophical ideologies and formative characteristics are learnt to apply to modern landscape architecture.
