20년에 한번씩 전국 각 도시가 도시계획을 함으로서 도시의 미래를 계획하게 되며 주요도시의 위성도시 및 신도시개발에 대한 수요도 도시계획에서는 주요한 학습의 요인이 된다.
또한 도시재생은 산업구조의 변화 및 신도시？ 신시가지 위주의 도시확장으로 상대적으로 낙후 되고 있는 기존 도시를 새로운 기능을 도입 창출함으로서 경제적 사회적 물리적으로 부응하는 것을 의미함 그러므로 본 강의에서는 지역의 자연, 사회, 경제, 관광, 인적 자원을 활용하여 도시의 새로운 의미와 기능을 부여하는 과정적 학습을 통해 도시재생계획과정을 실습과 함께 진행 함.

This subject is aimed to study city planning for better city than existing one in practicing one/20year and new town development.
Existing city is falling behind relativly in urban fuction in comparision with new differnt city by result from the change of industrial structure and newtown and expansion of new section of a city
So, this class is proceeded in placing on revival of economy , society, physical environment to create value of new fuction in exixting city .
To create value of new fuction in exixting city , it is studied by survey methodology and successful case studies in the inside and outside of country .
also, projet based leanning is progressed each team choosing in declinng city inside
