동양조경사의 한국, 중국, 일본의 동양 3국의 자연관과 철학, 정치, 문화 ,역사를 이해하면서 각 시대적으로 표출되었던 정원에 대한 특성을 이해하여 동양 3국이 각자 자신만의 고유한 양식을 표출해 내는 과정을 습득하고 현대 조경은 서양의 공공 공간탄생 과정에서 발전되었다고 볼수 있으므로 서양 조경의 역사적 배경과 특징을 습득하고 이를 현대조경에 적용할수 있도록 철학적 이념과 조형적 특성을 이해한다.
교과목해설(영문)
Views of nature, philosophy, politics, culture, history of Korea, China, and Japan is learnt with historical gardening features. The processes of expressions of inherent styles of these three countries are emphasized and Since modern landscape architecture is developed from western public space, historical background and characteristics about western landscape is learnt. Also philosophical ideologies and formative characteristics are learnt to apply to modern landscape architecture.
